Monet Photo Cleaner ("Monet Photo Cleaner") is designed with your privacy in mind.

  • No cloud storage managed by the app
  • No third-party advertising
  • No selling of personal information
  • Your photo library is processed on your device whenever possible.

The app only requests access to your photo library to help you identify and manage duplicate, similar, blurry, screenshots, large videos, and other unnecessary media. Your photos remain under your control at all times.

Information We Access

Photo Library Access

Monet Photo Cleaner requires permission to access your photo library in order to:

  • Find duplicate and similar photos
  • Detect blurry or low-quality images
  • Identify screenshots and unnecessary media
  • Detect large videos and files
  • Organize your photo library
  • Allow you to review and delete selected items

The app only accesses the photos and videos necessary to provide these features.

On-Device Processing

Photo analysis is performed on your device using Apple-provided frameworks whenever possible.

Monet Photo Cleaner does not:

  • Upload your photos or videos to our servers
  • Store copies of your media outside your device
  • Perform facial recognition for identification purposes
  • Share your photos with advertisers or data brokers

Any deletion of photos occurs only after you explicitly confirm the action.

App Data

Monet Photo Cleaner may store certain information locally on your device, including:

  • Scan results
  • Photo organization preferences
  • Settings and customization options
  • Recently scanned categories
  • Favorite or ignored items (if applicable)
  • Subscription status provided through Apple's App Store

This information remains on your device unless it is included in an Apple-managed device backup, such as iCloud Backup.

  • Delete all locally stored app data by uninstalling the app

  • Disable diagnostic sharing through your iOS privacy settings

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the Effective Date at the top of this document.
